15 Month-old Jazmine Bossman is Fighting for her Life - You Can Help!

Celina and Sean Bossman watched with excitement as little Jazmine took her first steps just after Thanksgiving 2010.  A couple weeks later in early December, Jazmine had a seizure that was initially believed to be caused by a fever. Instead, Jazmine's parents learned they're facing any parents' worst nightmare - little Jazmine had a brain tumor.   In January 2011 the tumor was removed and it was malignant.  Additional testing revealed that Jazmine's cancer has spread to her spine in two locations and the prognosis is grim. Celina and Sean were just given two choices: put Jazmine through 6-9 months of aggressive chemotherapy, or take her home and "let nature take its course."  As if that wasn't enough for this family to face, Jazmine's father came down with severe pneumonia and has also been hospitalized.  Like many families struggling in this down economy, the family has limited health insurance and they are facing financial catastrophe no matter what happens with surgeries, chemotherapy, and hospitalizations.

The Bossman family needs our prayers. Please lift them in prayer, praying for a miracle to help baby Jazmine fight the cancer and have a chance at life and for the fast healing and recovery of Jazmine's father, Sean. They also need prayers for strength and patience as they navigate this most heart wrenching experience that no parent should ever experience.

Jazmine is being treated at the Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, Portland, Oregon and their story is being journaled in a caring bridge web page at: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jazminebossman/

Please consider helping this family financially, even if just a few dollars, your generosity and thoughtfulness will be most appreciated.
